Executive Committee

The Executive Committee will consist of the President, the vice President of Administration, Vice President of Programs, Vice President of Development, Vice President of Community Relations, Secretary and the Treasurer. The Executive committee will, to the extent permitted by law and consistent with the Bylaws, be authorized to act on behalf of the Board between regular meetings of the Board in conducting any regular business of the corporation. The President will service as chairperson of the Executive Committee.

Current members are: Glenn Lyons, Sanford Perry, Vivi See, John Michael, Treva Bedwell, Melanie Hambrick, and Lacy Harrelson.

Administration Committee

The Administration Committee is chaired by the Vice President of Administration and will consist of three (3) to seven (7) members. Members of the committee will include the Chairman of the Finance/Investment Committee, Treasurer, and may include other members of the Board of Directors. The purpose of the Administration Committee is to oversee the administration of the Foundation and to coordinate and/or develop policies and procedures, goals, a Five-year Plan, and banking and investment strategies to ensure the perpetuity of the Foundation.

Current members are: Sanford Perry, Pam Morgan, Alicia Needham, Miles Graham, and Melanie Hambrick.

Programs Committee

The Programs Committee is chaired by the Vice President of Programs and will consist of three (3) to seven (7) members. Members of the Committee may include other members of the Board and individuals from the community who have an interest and/or expertise in instruction. The purpose of the Programs Committee is to develop, solicit and accept proposals for projects/programs that will augment and enrich education. It is also the committee's purpose to validate the need of proposals/applications, determine the dollars needed, prioritize the needs and recommend action to the Board of Directors. The Committee will provide the leadership for the coordination of all Foundation programs.

Current members are: John Michael, Pam Morgan, Alicia Needham, Margaret Bolick, and Treval Bedwell.

Development Committee

The Development Committee will be chaired by the Vice President of Development and will consist of three (3) to seven (7) members. Members of the Committee may include other members of the Board and individuals from the community who have an interest and/or expertise in fundraising. The purpose of the Development Committee is to develop means for soliciting donations to support the Foundations current programs, endowment, and investment plans according to the long-term and short-term goals established by the Board of Directors.

Current members are: Vivi See, Melanie Hambrick, Pam Morgan, Lacy Harrelson, Alicia Needham, Lynn Kaylor, Molly Clark, Dawn Howard and Jackie Thurston.

Community Relations Committee

The Community Relations Committee will be chaired by the Vice President of Community Relations and will consist of three (3) to seven (7) members. Members of the Committee may include other members of the Board and individuals from the community who have an interest and/or expertise in the development and implementation of public relations and marketing ideas or strategies for the Foundation. The purpose of the Community Relations Committee is to promote the Foundation and to develop a plan for increasing interest in and awareness of the Foundation's programs and activities.
